Well, today is saturday and he had his surgery on WEDS..
all went well! i beilieve it was all of the good wishes and prayers that he received! (THANK YOU ALL)
as he went into surgery, the surgeron realized that it was not "as bad" as he once thought before surgery ..
things went quite well and only lasted about an hour or so.. (not the 3 hours he first anticipated)
things are going a little back and forth for healing though..the swelling in his jaws are not healing as well as they should be (ALOT SLOWER)
and a tooth is beginning to shift and hurt sometimes..
he IS Still on HIGH pain meds.. around the clock..
we are working on getting the swelling down and if it doesn't go down then there might be a problem
and he'll have to go back to the surgeron on monday..
he is miserable and canot do anything except lay around..
so as the SURGERY went quite well (THANK GOODNESS),
healing time is not as it is suppose to be.. the doctor says since the swelling has NOT started to subside, only increase a bit by bit that something like infection might be the cause :(
he does says that Joey's jawbone will take about 6 months to totally heal completely inside and out.. 7-10 days for the stitches to dissolve and will find out results of tumor (wether cancer or not-HE THINKS NOT) in a week
if all goes as planned...
