Hi

I recently traded a bunch of frees to somebody for ciggy coupons. Unfortunately, when I got them, they have another state printed on them and my stores won't take them. (They were really nasty, I tried to use some that were good and they said, oh, these will cover the ones you gave us that were no good! So I was out 2 sets of coupons).

Anyway, I emailed her and let her know that the coupons weren't good here, only in her state, and she hasn't responded. What do you think I should do? I didn't specifically ask if they were good in my state, so partly my own fault for not checking.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Thanks, Sue Edelmann

the person you traded with should have let you know that they had a state listed on the back. When I trade cig coupons I also let the person interested in them know if there is a name and or state listed on the back. I would not have let the store take the two sets of coupons I would have gotten the ones back that you traded for. Hopefully the person is a honest traded and will send back your frees and you send her the coupons back. Hopefully she hasn't used any of them yet, but you would be out some of the frees I quess for the coupons you let the store keep as you don't have them to send back.
