I am getting married in January and in September I am going home to California since my sister is having a baby. My mom and sister want to have a bridal shower for me while I am there since it's probably the last time I will be there until I get married (unless i go for a couple of days around Christmas). They are asking me what I want to do, theme ect....I have no idea. Any fun suggestions? I will mostly be family since most of my friends are here in AZ now. 1|1|One question? Are you driving?? How will you get all the stuff home? The reason I ask, is I have heard of Gift card showers (not very exciting though, lol) and Envelope showers---all the gifts have to be able fit inside an envelop (no size specified though), that could be interesting :) Also, one suggestion, the shower should reflect the bride's personality and interests.....for example, I just went to a shower in June for my nephew's fiance and they are young, very unconventional and unique....the groom's sisters threw her shower and had a punk rock theme, it was a hoot! I drove there this summer, but was leaning towards flying this time. I guess I would mail the stuff back that didn't fit in my suitcase. Her mother in law just put a small note to remind everyone she lived far in VA and asked they have the presents sent. Most people did their shopping online and had them sent to her house the Monday after the shower. She got gifts all day long it was a riot!
