Our schools go back on Wednesday. I have to be there tomorrow for a set-up day....I will be subbing for a 3 rd grade teacher for 4 - 6 weeks. I love 3rd grade I have subbed for that grade a lot, but setting up and being there on the first day....eeks this will be a whole new experience : )

So it feels kind of strange that I won't be doing any school shopping this year. I'm kind of glad in one way cuz I don't have to worry about that expense & then too, I don't have to worry as much about him catching that blasted H1N1 flu & all the other buggers that begin floating around as soon as school is back in session. But, I miss that routine & now it's a new worry that he's 18 & is trying to find a job, etc. He hasn't said anything but I'm pretty sure he's also going to miss that routine & seeing his friends everyday. Plus, he's kind of scared that he doesn't have the protection & security of being a minor anymore & being under mom's protective wings. ;)

I am so ready.... my 16 yr old dd is driving me crazy with her attitude.. she was dating this boy and he grabbed her 6yr old brother around the neck and we informed him to never step foot on our property again...so now we are the bad parent
