I just make mine with corn,beans,and mashed potatoes and add ketchup on top.
Could go for some now really.

I use ground beef also. And I actually use a pie crust base, but if you dont like that, just leave it out.
Shepherd's Pie
1 lb ground beef, browned and drained
1/2 med onion, diced, cook with the ground beef
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 pkt of brown gravy mix
1/2 c water
2-3 cups mashed potatoes
1 cup of frozen corn (or use 1/2 can well drained)
1 cup of frozen green beans (or use 1/2 can well drained)
Bake the pie crust at 375 for about 10 mins until set and lightly golden. Set aside.
Mix the cream of mushroom soup, gravy mix and water in a medium bowl. Add to browned ground beef. Mix in veggies.
Pour into a 9inch pie crust. Top with mashed potatoes. Bake at 350 degrees for 45mins or til hot and golden brown on top. Makes 6 servings.
