I don't mean to start ANY politically charged debate; I just read that North Korea has agreed to pardon reporters Lee and Ling... and release them to the U.S. I don't know what Clinton said or what promises where made, it keeps saying he went on a "strictly humanitarian" mission. I just do thank God that those young women will hopefully be allowed to leave the hard labor prison where they were sentenced.

I love that man. Kudos to the Obama administration as well, for allowing Bill Clinton to go over there and get those hostages released. That is all North Korea really wanted...to have a high-level US diplomat go to North Korea to negotiate. Wasn't it Al Gore .. etc, that had some implement on library's that

Lee and Ling were captured in North Korea's far northeast in the midst of the nuclear standoff. They had traveled to the border region in China to report on women and children defectors from North Korea, 12 years hard labor for that is pretty stiff. Since they were on assignment, working for Al Gore, I would hope he would be paying the bill for whatever it cost to get them back into the country, not the tax payers.
