I write poetry from time to time. Right now I am working on a book about couponing and I am about 1/3 of the way done. I thought for sure I would be able to finish it this summer, but with the kids home there just hasn't been the time to. So I need to get myself re-focused on that. I have another manuscript that is about the Oregon trail and I had to shelve that one because I just couldn't focus on the research for it (started that one before the G Monster was born and realized that I would need to set it aside until she is older), but someday I will get that one done as well. I want to do some traveling as I work on that one, because there are many original pioneer diaries in some libraries and museums and I would love to actually see them someday.

The Oregon trail would be a great story to tell, I love to read about history, about pioneers and how they lived and how they overcame the hardships they had to bear.
