I thought someone posted about that on this board. I had not heard of it before but it sounded like what I had yesterday. Is it that sort term? Or did I have a weird flu bug?

Well, glad to be 99% over it today. Yuck!

yes, that describes it.

Is it contagious like the flu? Hope not...don't want hubby and the kids to get it!

There are different types of vertigo, from what I've read. Mine just started awhile back, it comes and goes, and sometimes I feel shaky. I don't think it's contaigious at all. Hugs, Rebekka

Yes, I was shaky as well, at least initially. I actually thought it could be from my thyroid which is why I got to looking online (and found vertigo info.) I remembered your post and saying how horribly dizzy you were and then figured out that was probably what I had as well. Made me nervous though bc Swine flu has a symptom of being dizzy. So glad it is vertigo (did I actually just say that?!?! lol) instead of Swine Flu. Are you feeling better now? Did you go to the DR for yours? Try any type of dramamine or anything at home?
Thanks for the info...sorry for all the add'l questions now.

Mine is positional vertigo. tomorrow I go back to Dr.
Then probably ent.
I had exercises for it.
Also a treatment.which if you e-mail me I will tell you about it.
It is caused by crystals n the ear. They have to make them move. no fun
