in a vinigar type dressing can anyone help with the recipie my moms at work and want to make it for dinner tonight?? i know it shoud be on the recipie board but more peiople look here than thaer thansk teri 1|1|sounds like a vinagrette, all depends on what you want it to taste like you can use lemon juice with it, or balsamic vinager, red wine vinager, champagne vinager, and then olive oil and salt and pepper for taste too. Here's one I make :)
3 med cucumbers
1-2 large tomato
1 med red onion (you can use white onion or vidalia onion also)
8 tablespoons sugar (you could also use Splenda or Equal to the equivalent of 8 tbls of sugar)
8 tablespoons canola or vegetable oil
6 tablespoons white vinegar or red wine vinegar
salt and pepper to taste
Mix all the dressing ingredients together, mixing well til sugar dissolves. Let stand for about 15 mins, while cutting the veggies up.
In a large bowl, toss the prepared veggies with the dressing.
