I have their full wardrobe the year before. When in doubt, I always buy any possible size bc I am buying it so cheap, that even if they outgrow it before they wear it, I can always trade/ sell it for about what I paid for it esp if NWT.

Gap Kids, Childrens Place, JCP & Target are my favorite stores. You can also buy cheap items at Old Navy, Crazy 8, Kohls, Walmart. I have almost always bought my kids shoes on Amazon. com; I don't understand their super sales but I love them =)

I keep a running list in my head of things we may need. Then I seek those things out; otherwise I do not even look in those depts so I don't get tempted to buy things I do not need.

I used a ton of the $5 & $10 Kohls certificates to buy socks, undies, and glove/hat/mitten sets. If I have extra, then I buy the next size or two ahead.

HTH,
Stacey =) 3|1|We homeschool, so we don't buy back to school clothing, but I do shop for deals all year round :)|RebekkaVA|queen_vulture@msn.com|15:20:35|07/27/2009|

if you have one near you, its a great store for brand names at cheaper prices than thrift stores. Just have to look through a lot of racks to find the ones you need and that aren't imperfect items.
I only have one child in school but she does cyberschool at home so this is the first year I won't be buying school clothes and I am thrilled! My oldest is 22 and boy am I ever glad the stress of back-to-school is over for me. 6|1|justice(got 2 complete outfits and 2 dvds and got a$25&$15 justic buck coupons) also found stuff on sale at crazy 8/childrens place|crazymomx2|crazymomx3girls@hotmail.com|19:34:31|07/27/2009|

ty 8|2|Don't know if you have one, but Burlington Coat Factory is awesome for great deals on brand name stuff too....I get the boys skateboard brands there (jeans, tshirts, hoodies) for about 60-70% off the retail price. Marshalls, Gordman's...those are good too :) Steve & Barry's used to be a favorite, but they closed up here.|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|19:40:40|07/27/2009|

Once Upon a Child (consignment)
Target (boys shirts)
Kohls (sales rack)

Then my friend gave me TONS of clothes from her son that he outgrew.

The consignment store had awesome prices! I found brand name shirts for 3.50 all in great shape.
