Anyone have a helpful hint on how to get a water stain off the ceiling. The other night we had a real bad storm and had a leak on the ceiling. I tried some bleach but I can still see it. Don't want to paint ceiling now. That is a good winter job. Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks, Barbara 2597Grandma 1|1|Iron Out. :)|maraj|maraj64@hotmail.com|12:31:56|07/25/2009|

Iron Out is just awesome on water & rust stains. You can find it usually in the laundry aisle by Shout, etc., the bathroom aisle by the CLR, or automotive aisle by the Goop, depends on the store. It comes in a power & I think too, a pump spray. I prefer the powder cuz I usually put a little bit of it in a small, disposable cup & then dip a damp toothbrush in it. Then apply w/the toothbrush to whatever water/rust stain you want gone & work it in a little bit. Rinse w/clean water & paper towels. I did it that way on some water stains my parents had on a few ceiling blocks in one of the bedrooms. Worked like a charm w/the stains completely disappearing!
HTH. :)

Good luck!

I love my computer because my friends live in it. 5|2|Do they still make Kilz? Or maybe called by a different name now? I havent seen it at Home Depot or Menards in quite awhile.....we've been buying the Zinsser Bullseye primer at Menards, works just as well as Kilz did...|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|21:51:27|07/25/2009|
