i called hughesnet........told him i have downloads blocked...kids dont download songs,games or anything like that........but our internet gets flagged for over usuage(makes it very slow)

access your router's control page at http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 (depending on device manufacturer). From there, you will setup a protection for your wifi signal through setting a password for your broadcast signal. Just remember that admin password and access password are two different thing.
