She was at the Ironbirds stadium (cal ripken's stadium) and a bat came flying at her. Her dh caught it in the middle but somehow it ended up hitting her left thigh. They took her to the ER as a precaution and are doing Xrays as I type. But at first her leg was on fire and had little movement. She seems to be regaining movement and not in as much pain.

WHEN YOU SAID "BAT" I thought of a bat...the kind that fly...LOL..then realized it was a regular bat at a baseball game. when you said it hit her in the leg.
