13 0|0|Homemade Kahlua recipe! :)|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|15:37:49|07/19/2009|

2 cups sugar
10 teaspoons instant coffee
1 pint water
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 cups vodka

Mix above in a pot and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour, stir every now and then.
Cool to room temperature.
Add 1 Tbs vanilla and 2 cups vodka.
Store in clean bottle. with a tight-fitting cap (washed and sterliz a 750ml liquor and screw-top wine bottles with the labels removed, you can wash it in the dishwasher and that will also sterlize it.) This will keep indefinitely...you may want to store it in the fridge just to be safe if you will have it longer than a couple weeks.

You could also add about a 1/4c Hershey's syrup if you'd like for a more 'mocha' taste.
Drink responsibly! :D

Joy :)
