When I bought my new scanner, I think it sat in the box for a good 6 mos. before I finally took it out & hooked it up. Won a copy machine a couple yrs. before that & I know it sat in the box for well over a year before I finally got up the courage to plug it in. LOL I did open the boxes right away to check them out but I guess I just wanted to admire them for a little while before I got around to using them. LOL
Glad I'm not the only one. ;)
