Super cheap at Staples (only .01/8 pk) I bought around 70 from the children place last year and I think I paid $1.50. Right now there 2/$5 and alot of low inventory already. My girlfriend just got back from the Phillipines and kids stood on line for 2 days for a pair of flip flops --------- 2 days..... I'm trying to prepare better for next time....

My girlfriend goes to the medical missions year year and she sends me pictures. Our hearts desire is to actually adopt a couple of children from the Phillippines. (God willing) I was suppose to be part of their medical missions team but because of the court stuff/pain issues I couldn't. So, this is our way of giving back.....

I do alot of donation and redistribution activities. I bet if you called some local organizations and explained what you were doing, you would get alot of response. Maybe you could call, explain, and then ask for them to commit to donating X number of actual pairs of flip flops. I would also post on Freecycle. org and craigslist in your area, and put up flyers.
I do shoeboxes for Operation Christmas child and I love their slogan of "praying for one more shoebox for one more child"...makes you really think that your one box is making true difference to one child!
