At least you remembered your anniversary. After around 20 yrs together (have no idea how many years exactly! lol) neither of us remembered our anniversary at all this year. Just realized last week it was end of May...no..no idea what date and neither does he. Would have to pull our wedding certificate out to find out. Sad but true! LOL With us not being EVER to go out and celebrate etc with our 2 special needs girls here, it's just another day for us. :)

My parents were married 52 yrs. & I thought it was awesome. They had a couple of big anniversary celebrations during that time - 25th (silver) & 50th (golden) - but on the rest of their anniversaries they were quite content & happy to spend those special occasions at home w/just each other &/or us kids. Even after all those years tho, the love & twinkle in their eyes for each other never faded. :)

Got married while I was still in high school. It has been tough at times but on Dec. 17 this man will have put up with me 54 years - or the other way around. Things are much better now and we are really enjoying life in our old age. I still refund and coupon a lot mostly to help my children. Really love this site.
