What is a raw-fried potato? 18|3|Garden potatoes that are sliced w/the peelings on & fried in margarine...|maraj|maraj64@hotmail.com|21:50:34|07/01/2009|
Of course I wash them good beforehand & cut off any funky eye spots. You can peel them 1st if desired but I prefer to leave the peelings on as it's a good source of iron. And I use margarine that has no trans fat & is low in cholesterol & saturated fats.
My dad got me hooked on this when I was a kid. We'd come back from fishing & he'd fry up the fish we caught & raw-fried potatoes. Now my son just loves potatoes this way too. ;)

"Middle age is when you choose your cereal for the fiber, not the toy." 21|5|Not deep fried tho. Just a plain 'ol stove-top frying pan. :-p LOL|maraj|maraj64@hotmail.com|22:40:52|07/01/2009|
Done the old fashioned way, thinly sliced. American fries are thicker & deep fried...

22|6|I've never had American fries deep fried....always griddle or pan fried, like hash browns but sliced potatoes rather than shredded....is that another 'up north' thing now?? LOLOL :) |saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|16:06:26|07/02/2009|

6|1|Chicken noodle casserole...|sunriver|lithiasalt@cheerful.com|20:34:20|06/30/2009|
I took some boneless chicken and cooked and cubed it. Then I had some free kraft pasta salad that I knew most of my family would not eat, so I took that apart by just using the noodles (boiled them). Threw them in a baking dish with the chicken and added frozen broccoli and topped with some cracker crumbs. Baked for about 15 minutes just to heat it together.
It wasn't bad! 7|1|enchillada soup|tollman62|thebossatnight@yahoo.com|20:49:30|06/30/2009|
