I don't know what or where it is, but I have a horrendous smell coming from somewhere in my car--NO joke either!! It almost smells like it's coming from the vents. I'm not even sure where to start looking for it either...all I know is, it's not inside the car anywhere!!! Help, anyone ever had to deal with this before? I'm thinking a rodent climbed up there while I was out visitng my friend, she lives out in the country where there's a lot of open fields. 1|1|Check in your air filter (m)|nascar_babe|nascar_babe@hotmail.com|21:20:53|01/14/2004|

rodents like to climb up in there and make nests in the dirt, hair, etc. that collects there. One of the best things you can do is take your car to an oil change place and as them to check your filters *and change yur oil if its time*. My bet is that is where it is it.

PS: I know NOTHING about cars, but my dad is a mechanic and when he worked for an oil place for 12 years, they saw this all the time. Very normal :)

Don't know what it was or where it went, but very happy to know I can drive my car around without being bothered by that smell. My nose will NEVER be the same again!! I'll update should we ever find the answer to this unsolved question (smile). No more having to crack my windows to help circulate the cold air around. Can also use my heater and defroster freely knowing no smell isn't going to overwhelm us--ha ha!! 5|1| Maybe the rotting carcass (LOL) fell|suezz|clearys@comcast.net|10:44:49|01/18/2004|

out when you sent over a bump or around a corner. If he got in, there had to be a way for it to get out. But regardless, I am glad for you. There is no stink worse than rotting flesh.
