He just left w/a friend about a half hour ago so I figured I could try to find a solution for him before he gets back. ;)

It kind of looks like the nanos but more exactly like the classics

5|5|Ok, Cody says: Hold down the center button and the menu button at the top of the ring/circle at the same time until the screen displays the grey Apple symbol, that means it is rebooting. After a minute or two, it should go back to the regular main screen......lmk if that doesnt work. :)|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|18:15:08|06/26/2009|

He did get it to unfreeze & said he used a combination of buttons but when I asked him what buttons, I got a sarcastic but vague reply so I'll ask him again when he wakes up this morning what buttons. He was chatting w/a friend on his computer thus the reason for the 'tude. :-p After that I did tell him next time it freezes up then to just set it on the garage floor & stomp on it. LOLOL

so I made him tell me before I let him have the waffles. LOLOL
He said he pressed the "Hold" button & then pressed "Hold" again. Then, pressed both the "Menu" & the center button at the same time & held for 8 seconds. He said his friend found that button combo on the internet.
