If he doesn't want to willingly stay at the hospital tomorrow, I will have him committed after seeing some of the stuff he did today. We came home from being out, and I sent my son up to see if he was sleeping, and he was laying there buck naked! Oy. I went up and got him into some clothes, half hour later I went to check on him and he was buck naked again. He has asked me about 10 times when we're going out today (we're not), and most of his other speech is incoherent.
His caseworker wondered if maybe he'd had a stroke, but I've seen this exact behavior in him many years ago when he had a nervous breakdown then.

I logged in to the board just to see how things were going for you today. You've been on my mind. It must be so hard and frustrating to walk in your shoes and I can't even imagine. To say that you are a strong person is an understatement! I hope that you can take some pride in that as I really think that is something you should feel very good about!

What I read was someone who is emotionally drained from all the turmoil & worrying & someone who is in need of some reprieve from all of it. No, I don't see "flippant" at all. I just see someone finally getting a taste of freedom from all the stress & worrying. And after everything you've been thru, starting a new life w/your 2 kids & NO eggshells should be pretty much a piece of cake. :)

First of all, get our soft fuzzy blanky and sit yourself down for some Lauren time!
Secondly, you ARE strong and brave and all those things. You may not think you are, but you have made a lot of things happen in the last few days to help a lot of people. And while we will never know this for sure -- there is got to be someone else on RS who is going through something similar and they are now looking up to you and knowing that they too will survive
Thirdly, I am so so very sorry that you are going through this. I can't imagine what it's like, but like everyone else, I know it's not good. Life deals us some crappy things sometimes and you either deal with them or you fall victim.
Fourthly, I'm here and I have two strong shoulders that I can lend to you if you need one. You have a HUGE RS family -- we have lived through each other's good times and bad times and we're always here!!!

people, so that someone else can give them the help they need. So often we try to hang on, because of guilt, and just wind up in a continious circle of inabling the same situation to go on.
Praying your husband is able to get the help he needs. Praying you can find that peace again, and know that God can work all things out for good, even this.
