After 18 long days and 2 surgeries my Little Hero is home!!
Cooper is doing very well and the doctor released him today and for 3 weeks he has to take it easy and get his energy level back up and his appetite and then goes for a recheck and if everything checks out he can have a normal summer that any other 7 year old would have.
Again I want to thank everyone for the good wishes, prayers, cards and gifts as it has meant more than you will ever know and it was a bright spot in Cooper's day!

After hearing the sad news of 2 unexpected deaths this morning - 1 online & the other being the sister of my godfather who was also a long-time close family friend - I was about ready to go back to bed & hide this morning. Hearing that your grandson is doing so much better & was able to be released from the hospital is wonderful news to hear. :) Thank you for that Betty! :)
