It has been a long time since she was on and trading but I thought those who knew her could add her to your prayer lists tonight!
I had not heard from Regina for quite awhile and finally got an email from her. As many of you know her hubby was on the transplant list for a DOUBLE lung transplant.
Well he had it. I am not sure when but he has had several complications and is in critical condition! She found a computer in the waiting room and emailed me but I am not sure how often she will get to check it.
I had given her my phone numbers but I guess she forgot to program them into her phone... I feel so helpless not being able to call her.
If anyone remembers she was going to have to stay there for like 2 months because the hospital is so far from home and hubby , under normal circumstances was going to have to stay there that long.
If I find out anything else I will post as soon as possible but PLEASE keep this AMAZING lady in your thoughts in prayers. She is kinda alone in all this.... she has been taking care of her mom who has major health problems and her son is 18....she NEEDS us all to pull together and get the prayer chain going!

UPDATE**
After many rounds of phone tag I was able to talk w/ Regina at lengths yesterday and boy the things this lady has had to go through and see her lover and best friend go through...I pray if I ever need to be this strong, I can at least be half as strong as she is!
Carl is doing much better..the only worry is a high WBC but all tests come back fine! they are even already thinking of releasing him. Now when he gets released he will have to stay in Charlottsville in an apartment, I believe on the hospital compound for 2-3 weeks. That way he is close by while they are learing how to deal w/ their new lives.
The nurse encouraged them to go out when they get there, go out to eat and such. Regina was THANKFUL to have made it this far and especially thankful to God for allowing this to happen after Carl got to see their son graduate from high school!
If anyone would like to send a care, PM and I will be happy to give you the information but it might be better to wait until I get the apartment addy. The nurse said they would forward anything to the apartment, but I don't know how much I trust that.
Regina wanted me to THANK everyone for the thoughts and prayers and ask if you don't mind....keep em' coming! Carl is not out of the woods yet.
