Let's say someone gets paid cash all year round. But you want to prove they have an income. The3y don't claim it on taxes. How do you prove it??

From personal experience from being at an employeer who pays cash.... here is a good way to have this info surface!
-Report Company who is paying cash to IRS and Department of Labor and Department of Unemployement (if they can't help in your state they will give you a number who will take a complaint)
-What happens in my state is next an investigation is opened and they will pull the books of the company and search!!!
-They will see that money is missing somewhere...
-Once the employeer is caught he has to pay all that back taxes back to the IRS, Unemployement funds and there insurance too... lol employeer normally speaks up and gives employees names too because then those
employees will have to pay back all those taxes that should have been taxed...
Paying under the table (cash) does seem nice but is very illegal in so many ways!!!
I know here in DE you can also report the person who is getting paid cash and what company they work....
So much can be done!!! And the IRS LOVES knowing who pays out cash!!! And they will audit and get what is owed!

Yeah its good info to know....
My mother who had custody of my step sisters 3 kids years ago did this to her and her man to get the child support from them!!! (yes her own daughter.. long story but they were abusing the kids)
And this happened at my old job as well when one of the guys broke up with his gf... LOL she reported him for getting paid on and off the books!!! ( i know its not nice but hey WE ALL have to pay taxes so why not them!!! )
