No way. I pay a dollar for the white loaf, and a big splurge would be a $3 loaf of pepperidge farm or arnold, but wouldn't never pay that much especially for wheat bread. I could see (maybe) if it was a fancier grain bread or something, but wheat? Nope, no thanks!

lauren 2|2|oh my I would never!!! I started making my own a few months ago and its much cheaper and better for ya!!!|slygirl217|lizzard41101@hotmail.com|11:00:54|06/11/2009|

As a little girl and I went to the store with my mother, bread was 4 loaves for $1. So, yes, Orowheat is terribly expensive but this is the only bread DH likes. I have tried buying other "whole wheat" bread but he thinks it is too mushy, and he is right. When the stores have it 2/$5, I will buy several loaves and freeze them. Then a couple of months ago, a store started sendng coupons for $1 off Orowheat so then I can get them for $1.50. I have several in the freezer now and I hope the store will continue to send us those great coupons. But, I will continue to buy Orowheat because my DH never asks for things.
