He was feeling blah the other day then yesterday it progressed and he felt horrible. He said he couldn't breathe and his lungs felt collapsed. His voice sounded horrible and when he talked he had a "wet" type tone to it, sounded like the Croup to me. Yesterday he spit out a huge thing of mucus and it was a bit pink, then he spit a few blood clots or things that were the size of a nickel, so I took him to the ER. They said it sounds like he has pneumonia when we got there, so they ran test and no pnuemonia. They also did a ct scan of his lungs to make sure no blood clots in there. They said there were no signs of one in either lung. The dr. did say his lungs were swollen and inflammed, so they gave him two breathing treatments on a nebulizer and also a steriod plus some pain meds, cause he said the pain in his lungs were so bad. He started to sound better when we were leaving the ER, but now tonight he sounds the same, I'm calling a Family Practice dr. tommorrow to get a follow up appt and hopefully they can get him in this week and see what's going on. The ER dr. did prescribe Prednisone for 5 days to help with the inflammatory in the lungs and also an inhaler, we don't have insurance, so I figured the meds would be expensive but when I went to fill them at Walmart, they were $4 and $9, so that wasn't too bad at all. Anyways in case I'm not online much, you'll know why. Plus my stupid email is acting up and it's taking people forever to get emails from me, or they don't get them at all, so if you've emailed and haven't got an answer, I'm not ignoring you, I'm having email headaches again :( Rebekka
