10 0|0|Anyone know how to get a stuck DVD out of the computer?|Beaglesfly|lmllr77@aol.com|20:07:43|06/08/2009|
It doesn't want to pop out, any ideas?
lauren 1|1|There should be a small pin hole.....|maraj|maraj64@hotmail.com|20:34:27|06/08/2009|
right around where the disk drawer comes out. If the button to operate the disk drawer doesn't function to open the drawer, take a small needle or pin & stick it in that little pin hole. The drawer should then open. HTH. :)

"Middle age is when you choose your cereal for the fiber, not the toy." 4|3|Joy, if your disk drawer ever gets stuck, you'll probably have to take the case off your pc.....|maraj|maraj64@hotmail.com|22:10:28|06/08/2009|
& either look for a small pin hole somewhere around the disk drive (possibly the backside of it) or if none, push the disk drawer's button on the front while giving the drive a little push from the back.
Most computers come w/that little pin hole, just for such a situation, so I'm surprised yours doesn't have one. :(

10|2|Thanks for mentioning the pinhole; had no idea it was there, and have had a disk stuck in my drive a couple times over the years. This pc is about 10 yrs. old...and still running fairly good. Ex-bf who's a computer brainiac never told me anything about that pinhole--what an idiot he is ha ha!!|Shirley5150|Shirley5150@peoplepc.com|02:54:21|06/12/2009|

The genius is the smartypants who came up w/the idea to put those little pin holes by the disk drawers for that reason. LOL Somebody was looking out for us end-users. ;)

After the disaster that is (was) my upstairs bathroom, all I needed was to deal with that frustration as well as two screaming kids wanting to play a game on the computer!
LOL
