Then while camping, read the book and then go out and find specimens of them.  Leaf rubbings on the leaves, disposal camera for the bugs, birds, etc), then make a homemade scrapbook for these things.  <P>We also always take cards to play, get a book if you need a reminder of all the card games there are; a kickball and football/ frisbe/ etc, and bubbles (walmart has these HUGE ones that any age would love.  It is a longggggggggg skinny wand inside of the see thru container and makes the most huge bubbles I have ever seen.)<P>Have fun on your trip!<BR>
