I've now only done 2 trades since the PP change and One I was not charged for and the other I was.

Does anyone truely know the answer to this?

I have asked both what type of account they have and was it existing fees. I don't know what type of payment each selected but I thought that in my reading that didn't matter as long as the sender has a personal account and EF. Maybe I'm not reading the PP thing correctly on their upadated policy site.

Thanks,

If you choose 'personal' ..then 'other' on the personal tab page, I have not had any fees charged to me or receiver. I think Teresa posted this before but could be wrong..know someone did ..and it works. I DID NOT choose cash advance though..just the 'other' choice on the personal page 2|2|Dinel posted some info on the refund boards about this.|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|19:41:01|06/07/2009|

not sure everyone will see it.

What I want to know is if you use the Personal/Other method for no fees do you have buyer/seller protection?

I know that was a drawback to RME but if you don't have protection at paypal using this method, why bother with paypal at all. Just do RME and don't worry about if you will or won't get fees.

But I don't know if that's so. Can someone check their paypal logs and see if transactions using the personal/other method qualify for buyer/seller protection and post here.

Thanks.
