I never got any notice a change
Are they charging everyone with a personal account or is their a reason I got the fees, like they used a credit card instead of a balance transfer.
Does anyone know? 1|1|read Dinels post .. link inside... |car_mont|car_mont@hotmail.com|19:33:50|06/04/2009|

I have a personal PP account. I have been the seller nine times yesterday and today combined. Out of the nine transactions, a fee was only tacked on once. The other eight transactions came to me without a fee and the buyer did not pay a fee either....at least I think so! So what made the difference? I haven't had the priviledge of buying yet as I'm taking a back seat to watch what happens. I hope someone can explain the "sometimes fee" in plain and simple terms. Is it the difference between checking the box for Personal or checking the box for Purchase??? To me, the new Paypal Policy Update is still clear as mud!!! And this is day two...........

ETA.... I never had the option of refusing the payment with a fee already taken out of it. No option...it just showed up in my PP account already deducted!

I love my computer because my friends live in it. 3|2|Here is a easy way to understand it!|cashcoll|cashcoll@yahoo.com|00:21:32|06/05/2009|

PAYPAL FEE'S: (On trading with other traders)

When you send paypal, DO NOT select "PURCHASE", (example) goods or services, etc. If you chose "purchase" it charges 2.9% of the total plus $.30 surcharge, to the RECIEVER!

ALWAYS select "PERSONALl". If you select "personal", no matter what type of payment you are using, (exsisting funds, credit card, etc.) it will not charge the a fee.

5|4|I'm not comfortable having buyers sending their paypal money personal. I can't have my paypal accounts frozen.|qponsandy|qpons4trade@ameritech.net|08:34:46|06/05/2009|

I'll just have to charge a paypal fee or just take cc or stamps.

I know paypal is watching the accounts especially due to the fact people are calling them and then posting on how to avoid not getting hit with the fees.

Just my opinion on the matter. 6|5|I'm not sure they can freeze your account because the sender chose to send the wrong way I would think the senders account would be frozen Today I posted my first item to trade asking for pp I |teener|teenerzacsneenee@yahoo.com|08:45:03|06/05/2009|

included the fee as I don't expect someone to risk their money being frozen 7|6|The best thing to do is just to call them and ask them!|cashcoll|cashcoll@yahoo.com|16:56:58|06/05/2009|
