I've had the same glasses for at least 7 yrs, I only wear them around the house because they are so dog-butt ugly, lol
I picked out some glasses and picked them up today....was going for the intellectual, modern look in case I'd ever want to wear them in public for a change. My Dh says I look like a sexy librarian now....I think I got the librarian part down, not so sure on the sexy part! ROFL!
PS--they're the slim, squarish frames....in black-cherry red! :D

Seriously now, I'm sure you'll love your new glasses. :) When I got my new pair last year, I was pretty happy w/them (had my old pair forever). Of course it helped that I could see MUCHO better, especially w/the 1st-time bi-focals. And believe it or not, the lines of the bi-focals don't bother me at all. Just took a little getting used to using the bi-focals instead of lifting my glasses up to see the small print stuff. LOL I got the rectangular shaped ones but they're about med. size so not too small or too big. Silver w/light bluish/silver bows. Have always had to wear mine all the time, since 4th grade, so I'd probably look pretty strange if I ever got contacts. LOL
