I have the coupons.com toolbar on my home PC and have for many years with no problems. I (stupidly, I guess) downloaded it onto my work laptop. Didn't notice anything. One day I was unable to boot. Gave it to one of my staff members (luckily I manage this group) and he cleaned up the virus that appeared to have been loaded with the coupons.com toolbar. I don't know.

I do know that if you download the new Google Chrome, we are seeing a lot of issues with that at work. It apparently wipes out your internet explorer. We're seeing a LOT of issues with it on Vista machines and so far it has been impossible to uninstall. We are having about a 50% success rate with XP machines.
2|2|Thanks for sharing your experience with some of the toolbars, Robin...I have been thinking of downloading the coupons.com toolbar, but I think I'll pass....right now the only toolbar I have is the Yahoo toolbar that came already installed as part of Vista....I have no problems with that at all.|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|09:09:46|05/31/2009|
