I did a google search and phrased it as what is the worth of a 1953 $2 bill with red ink.

In circulated condition, it's worth about $5

A nice crisp uncirculated one is worth about $8

Answer
Series 1953 $2 bills were issued as U.S. Notes rather than Federal Reserve Notes. U.S. Notes used red ink as a way to visually distinguish them from other series.

Hope this helps answer your question. I would definately hold on to it though. Even though that is a 'standard' answer, anything collectible is only as valuable as the person who wants it will pay for it. So who knows..might be someone out there has a collection and is willing to pay hundreds..maybe thousands for it! :) 2|2|thanks I wish i could find someone that would pay an unreasonable amount for it LOL|AChickennugget32|mykingsqueen32@yahoo.com|17:58:48|05/30/2009|
