Does anyone have inlaws who just never complement you on anything. I just redid my living room from new ceiling, painting, new tv, stand, etc and mother in law comes in and does not say a word. It absolutely drives me crazy as if she doesn't even notice it. It is on everything from clothes, to haircuts, to how my kids look. people get crazy when it comes to stuff like this, I have a friend like that but still love her despite all

my brother and sister--in-law did $80K of renovations to their home, mostly in the kitchen. The first time my mom visited she told them "I can't tell that you did anything".
