I realize how lucky I am to have a job in today's economy....but I have to vent this....
Ever since I took this new position....there's two women who have been HORRIBLE to me....we USED to actually be friends.....I go to work every day with a smile on my face (whether I feel like wearing one or not)...and do my job 110%...yet these two women feel the need to be as miserable as they possibly can to me....it's sad how people just don't understand that we all to make a living,,,why not make it as pleasant as possible for each other.....
Sorry....just had to vent...thank you so much for letting me get it out. dealing with their behavior....I can't believe grown women behave in this kind of manner...geesh...I feel like I'm in high school all over again! And seriously...these women are more than twenty years older than me....you'd think they'd have a bit more class than to behave like the school yard bullies! 2|1|I had problems with a nurse for awhile several years ago....I faced it head-on, and asked her outright what I did or didnt do to make her so hostile towards me. Sometimes bullies just need to be called on the carpet to make them stop. After I was frank with her, she stopped being antagonist and rude...in fact, she was sweet as pie to me! I have seniority and am full time-she is part time.....total witch....i hate working with her-there are days we will sit in the same office for hours, seperating tags and she will not speak to me....she claims it is not me...i actually asked to go back up front as it is evident she hates me...store mgr had a few choice words about her...and then told me wonderful news...not...she is preggo, which means she will be even more witchy....I tell everyone how good at her job she is(which is the truth)....but that she hates me....which is also the truth...she actually turned her back on me at the time clock just before i went on vacation...she had better not start with me tomorrow...fresh off vacation i will probably not be too nice!!! hope your witches grow up!! take Joy's advice and confront them before it continues. I had this issue and ignored the person and I can tell you she really caused me ALOT of issues over the years and I am still feeling the result of this.we got a new manager a year ago & she put it to an end, which was grewat for a little while but now there is a new sheriff in town & it is starting again. I am actually losing hours at work because of this. If I could go back, I would confront her from the start (I actually did a few times but it never lasted) the last time I really laid into her & it worked while the other manager was there.
The bottom line is: you deserve to work in a cheerful environment, work is stressful enough, & harrassment in the work place is against the law
