I quite frequently trade with Jilda, who lives 1 state away....that is it...1 state!! I would say every other week or every 2 weeks for a while her trades were arriving in body bags, courtesy of the usps. The first week of aprils trade never arrived, so she refunded my payment. I picked up the mail today, and in a body bag was the April 6 trade...seriously. Want the kicker?????? the relief postmistress charged me an extra .24 in postage cause she said it was too heavy/or bulky.
I looked at her and said-"What? You hold my mail hostage for almost 2 months, send it to me in a body bag with every side of the envie ripped, and you want to charge me an additional .24cts?" Her reply? Do you want it or not? Seriously....Needless to say i paid it, emailed Jilda to offer payment, tho most was expired. She refused as she is a classy trader.....
I am taking it back to the po tomorrow to complain to the reg postmistress....Mind you the relief also hit me up for additional postage on 2 other envies...gotta love it....Jodie

Our mail goes to a processing center, and I've gotten simple envies (like a regular sized bday card) returned to me for addl postage....I take it to my PO and they weight it, not over the 1 ounce limit.
