cheryl brace after being off line for a while i opened a new account with paypal. i opened a personnel account. when i was with them before my bank account was instant payment. now they say it has to be a debit or credit card for instant payment. isn't there a charge using debit or credit? they now call listing bank account as echeck. also itn't a personnel account free? driving me nutts. help. thans,cheryl 1|1|I kind of know this though I don't know why...When I only had my bank account hooked to it...then my payment without enough existing funds was an echeck. They kept sending notices to verify my address (?) through my credit card/debit card. Once I did that my payments are all instant...whether I have existing funds or not. In case you do not have funds available. I have had mine several years. I have credit card and bank account attached to it. For bank account, they deposit 2 small amounts and you have to tell them how much. If I pay for an item I can choose if I want it to come from bank account or credit card. I sell on ebay so I have to have the account that allows people to make a payment from their credit or debit. I do not pay any fees (regarless of how I pay) if I make the purchase.
