I just love being home and doing stuff around here.

After the parade there is a special ceremony in the park honoring ALL veterans, past & present. It's always a really nice tribute. My dad was a WWII veteran so is on the Veteran's Memorial there, which is always a mix of pride, deep respect & tears to view. After the ceremony, there's a noon lunch of usually BBQ or hamburgers & hotdogs, salad, cake, etc.
I might grill out for supper but will otherwise be puttering around w/outdoor things after I get home. ;)
