My in-laws live in another state and are planning to come here to visit for about three months. The plan was they were heading out today, driving here, and would arrive anytime between Sunday and Tuesday, depending no how much they stop, how fast they go, etc. So I've been running around like crazy getting everything ready for their arrival, cleaning, etc.
Well, they're still coming, but they aren't leaving today. They aren't sure when they will be able to leave. They are in the middle of refinancing their house and can't leave til the closing is done. So now, my house is ready, but I have to keep it ready for who knows how long til they get here.
And, next week we have something up every single night of the week, and my birthday is next weekend and I have plans for Saturday night and a BBQ on Sunday. I just know they're going to arrive right before we're ready to go out on Saturday, and we will either end up not going or will go and they will be mad because we leave.
OH well, I guess I'll make it.

how my sil has everything she could possibly need right near her house I was going to get in the car and drive far far away She can not understand why we enjoy living in more of a country setting and how we have to drive to Louisville for most things It's only 25 miles ugggggg

How terrible that things are so up in the air with their plans... truly hope that they get "more delayed" so that you have your bday weekend without them :) Keep us posted!
