Because I don't have diabetes, but I see free diabetes magazines at Rite Aid and they often have some pretty good coupons in them for safer food/lotions, etc. You might look for them if you have Rite Aids near you?
Web Md is a pretty good site for health info in case that might help? webmd.com
Your local library is another good resource. Or if your hospital has a health library that is even better.
It's really good to learn all you can, so that is wonderful that you are trying to help her.

Do a websearch for diabetic cooking for recipes. Along with a podiatrist she should see am opthamolagist for an eye check.
