Ok I am putting some stuff away this morning that I got at Krogers. Realized my tiny pantry is a mess. So here I am going through it now. I'd like to know how you gals keep track of what's in the pantry. I'd like use up stuff for meals.
I went grocery shopping at the dollar store and bought olives only to find right now I have a can in the pantry.
So any help on how you keep track of what's in the pantry when your trying to figure meals would be great!

all pastas then all canned veggies,sides,snacks ect ect
It makes it so easy to just open the doors and see everything HTH

I live in a mobile and we have no pantry. I use the wet bar area with a tall shelf. I put cans together, pasta, etc.

how about making a list on your computer desktop in word pad and "erase" things as you use them and "add" them to your shopping list as you need them? hth

just put all the green things together(beans,peas,greens) red things( tomatoes,beets) yellow corn, I also put like all meat in 1 spot works good if not much space hth Linda 5|2|I use permanent marker and mark the tops of cans/ boxes/jars the date I bought them. I store stuff in the basement in my storage and have a printout sheet of all items i have stored down there, one copy taped on my storage door, and one copy here upstairs, as I use stuff I mark it off the list, and that way I know exactly what I have.
