We really don't know much as his family refuses to speak with my daughter, but here is what we do know. He is awake sometimes but spends most still asleep or staring at television with not much recognition, just stares. He cannot move his legs nor right arm & his left arm is still jerking uncontrollablly. He has spoken a little to Bryce but has to use a metal box & sounds like a robot, cannot speak for only a few seconds & then starts having trouble breathing. Sounds like he has no clue as to who he is speaking with, as he is very distant, unemotional, like he is talking with complete stranger. His stomach keeps bursting open, has over 4 clamps on it right now, talking about removing his stomach completely. It's also covered with some kind of rash, they called it road rash & then the medicines that he is taking is causing him to have ulcers. Half his liver has died. He is still in Adult Critical Care & it will be 7 wk. this Fri. One lung is still deflated & the other is filling up with fluid, they have inserted a tube, so they can suction it all the time. That is all we know.

I really hope he finds the strength to pull through this...somehow.

He just can't understand why his other grandparent's are saying his dad is doing so good & will be walking & taking him fishing soon & we tell him that we don't know for sure but he needs to understand that daddy cannot walk right now & can't even move his legs so he might never walk again. He always asks me why they lie to him, it's so hard to answer since I believe they are lying also but don't want to say anything bad about them. I just always say that they are not lying just are full of hope. We did hear last night that the doctor's are saying that it will be a long time if ever, before he will walk & that he is facing many more surgeries. As to what type we are in the dark.
