I really really want to quit work...I so miss being home with my family and taking care of the house...What I need help/advice on is ...Has anyone done any kind of work at home jobs or know of any?? I really need to bring in some money each month and would love to find a legitimate job online. and does a lot of work from home. She also has another job in another field, so not sure how much work she gets but sounds like the training paid off. I would think you could even take classes on line.

Scopist. I did this for a while a couple of years ago. The hours are completely flexible and the pay was good. I didn't really need any training, but you have to have good spelling and grammar skills (I ended up slowly being "let go", I think because my proofreading skills weren't up to snuff). If you work under another scopist, you don't have to invest any money, but if you go into it yourself, you have to buy scoping software. A scopist proofreads legal transcripts. Google "scopist" and you'll find websites that tell you how to get started on your own, or you can find lists of people that are looking for scopists to work under them.
Cyber Secretary is another job (I think there's another name for this job, but can't remember it right now). You market yourself as a freelance secretary over the internet. There's a lot of different secretarial tasks you can do for someone. For example, someone scans their notes and emails them to you and you type them up...or type up letters....address envelopes, etc. I've wanted to get into doing this myself, but haven't yet. You have to have some secretarial skills such as microsoft word, etc. I'm not sure how you break into this market, but I'm sure if you google "cyber secretary" or "internet secretary" you can find information.
