My IP has a bulletin board where there's several forums: Gen. Discussion, Tech forum & forums to buy, sell & trade items. I'd posted that I was in need of a small utility shed, or the materials to build one, to utilize for outdoor seasonal & lawn & garden type things. Anyway, a few hours later, someone had posted a follow up to my post that they had one for a very reasonable price, along w/their phone #, & would deliver. Someone else pounced on the opportunity & must've called the person w/the shed right away so the guy sold it to that person. W/in a couple of hrs. he said. So...... I'm kind of ticked at the person who capitalized on my post & the person w/the shed for selling it to someone else. :(
It would be like Person A posting on the Refunding forum here that they needed this or that form or upc, Person B posting a follow up that they had those items & Person C hurrying up to email Person B & Person B then trading it to Person C.
I know alot of things are 1st come, 1st serve but if Person A is looking for something & you respond to their post that you have the items they're in need of, don't you usually give Person A a chance 1st, before going ahead & trading/selling it to Person C?
I know I'm whining but I'm in a real need of a shed so this bums me out. :( Why didn't Person C post themselves that they were looking for one since they obviously wanted one SO bad, instead of jumping in on my post. :-p
Please identify yourself in 1st email. If I haven't traded w/you before, I will require *legit* trade references & will gladly provide the same.
