at least they are offering a chance to have the meal later, with a bonus of a pepsi added to the deal. when quizno's ran a similar offer most of the stores simply refused the co's with no explination, no apology, and certainly no rain check.
i think kfc is doing a good thing by letting the public know they can't "feed the need" right now but are willing to offer you a meal later AND with a bonus. jmho
i am going to send off for my raincheck, perhaps i can use it sometime this summer.

Yes, freebies are nice, but now they are turning people away. Are they selling any of that chicken? They didn't put enough brain power into avoiding catastrophe if you ask me. Stagger coupon dates... limit them to one print... etc. etc. What did they expect? If Oprah endorses a book, people rush out and buy it. I'm just saying that they are handling this poorly and it is their own fault that people are p'd off. It'd be like advertising to your whole city for a free meal and having only 10 available to meet demand... and people feel lied to somehow.

i give kudos to kfc for realizing there's a problem and trying to fix it as best they can.

The KFC franchises, etc are paying for this promotion - the way I heard it.
KFC managers were threatened, sit ins, people causing traffic jams, threatening others lifes,
waiting hrs to be turned away.
KFC is trying to contain this before something bad happens to someone.
I did purchase an extra crispy meal today for $5.89
I will continue to buy from them.. they are being more than generous.
I am catching flack that I copied all those coupons - nope - got about 100 prints off that
pdf on first day to help out others with no printers - It was never my intention to be
labeled bad seed for trying to help out others. and mine did come from the actual site.
editing to add this: I had went to the uthink and got 4 prints off the bricks, my family enjoyed that.
Later wanted to see the oprah website and curious.
OPRAH"S people put that PDF up. .. if anyone should be "accused" or bashed - it is
