It was some kind of Indian food someone gave my dh. The lady called it Indian something but he couldnt' catch what the something was.

Shape: like a cheese curl
Size: slightly smaller than cheese curl
It was deep fried and appeared to be battered. It was WAY spicy!!! But he said it was fantastic.. any ideas??

Samosa's are normally triangles....stuffed with potatoes and peas
Pakora's are what I was thinking but don't fit the description. They look more like hush puppies.
Might be a Papadam. They are cracker-like in texture and normally very thin and plate sized.

We really need to know more info. Were they stuffed with anything? What color where they? Did they look yellow?

Served hot.
Looked freshly deep fried.
Shaped like cheese curls. For lack of better description finger shapes. Brown like fried chicken. It was the same food all the way through.

I LOVE them! I would rather eat a combo of pakoras and samoas than a main E Indian meal. Both are super easy to make at home.
