Just wanted to vent for a minute. I had a Rimmel coupon for a free mascara, a MANUFACTURER'S coupon mind you, but it said on the coupon 'Only at Walmart'. So I take my mascara and coupon to the register and the cashier looks at it like it's something from outer space, marks all over the coupon, then calls her boss over. She says no, that's a Walmart coupon only. I remind her that it clearly says Manufacturer's coupon on the bar by the expir date. She says no, this is for Walmart. So I ask her since when Target doesn't accept manufacturer's coupons, and she says they do. She said the coupon was invalid and ripped it up. What the heck was I suppose to do after that, so I walked out. I called Target and they said that the manager was incorrect with her understanding of the coupon and they were sorry. I told her that they needed to train their managers in regards to coupons better! Geez! I'm sick of feeling like a fraud or criminal when I legitimately attempt to redeem coupons.. no way in HECK i'd let them get away with that one! they'd be sending me either a mascara OR a gc for the full purchase price INCLUDING the tax as i'd have to go back again to get it. i'd be FUMING!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to call again and ask for a refund on the destroyed coupon. I really thought that even if a coupon said another store's name, it's immaterial if it's a manufacturer's coupon...anyways I agree it was insane that they ripped up the coupon, who does that?!?!
