I am an AVON representative and the City Accessor's Office just sent me a bill for $200.00 for a Business Person Property Assessment on my computer and cell phone. I do not actively go out looking for customers. I sell to an aquaintance about once every three campaigns and to myself. Over 3/4 of what I purchase is used on myself.

From City of San Jose, CA. She got a bill a couple of years after she quit selling, too. She fought it and went around and around about it, but ended up paying it. The City wouldn't budge.
Sorry, I hope you have better success. It's a stupid bill.
