I was privileged to be the Catholic girl in the Jewish town and am forever blessed by what I learned.
My High School Geography teacher was a Holocaust Survivor and had the tattooed numbers on his wrist from
the concentration camp he later escaped from as a child.

The horror of it all was just so hard to comprehend and left me with such a profound sense of sadness. I could not shake those images for days.
