Hi, just curious... I have 2 children now... and we are expecting another one (last one) in October... was it harder to go from 1-2 or 2-3... My son will be 7 and my daugther will be 2 when the new little one arrives...
Just curious as I am a bit freaked out...
Thanks so much for your input!!

We had our 3rd in November. And both of the other kids were so excited
to have a baby. It went really well for us. I hope it goes as well for you!
Our problem is colic! UGH!!!!

My parents had us buy him a present :) Of course, it was more of a toy for us, LOL.

I think you'll do really well b/c you have a 7 year old. That will make it easier b/c he's in school and also because otherwise you wouldn't have enough hands to grab when going into the stores ;) He's old enough to know "da rules" like my dd who is now 8. She will tell her lil brother what the rules are (when leaving the grocery store, your hand has to be on the cart and there's no running to the car, etc. etc.)

What we did when our ds was born was we had HIM get her a gift. She was 3, almost 4 at the time. Babies get all the good gifts, so having something for the older kids should help them have less present envy ;)
